The Working Principle of a Tube Drawing Machine

The "Transformers-like" nature of a pipe-pulling machine lies hidden within its operating principles: first, a drill bit bores a curved channel underground; then, using a series of drill rods, the pipe is "pulled" into this channel. This process is much like drinking bubble tea through a straw-the drill bit acts as the tip of the straw, the drill rods represent the body of the straw, and the pipe itself corresponds to the pearls inside the tea.

Even more remarkably, the machine utilizes a circulating mud system to maintain the stability of the channel, thereby preventing cave-ins. This technology allows pipe installation to move beyond the traditional, disruptive method of "slicing open the earth." It is particularly well-suited for traversing obstacles such as roads, railways, and rivers-a solution that is both environmentally friendly and highly efficient.
